The Art of Convincing
First of all, why do we have this need to convince people? This need to be right? Shouldn’t people make up their own minds, without anyone’s intervention? Learning by doing, learning by failing, learning by experience – that’s our ideal and that’s what we stand for.
But what does it take to actually convince others? Are you listening enough? Can you make people see the bigger picture? Are you yourself convinced of your cause and can you show it – through your body language and your words? Are you trying to connect only with their minds or do you touch others hearts and emotions? How do you convince under time pressure? What is the difference between convincing and manipulating?
Questions over questions. We’re going to leave you with these, as food for thought, until we meet on the 4th of December for “The Art of Convincing”.
